Center for Bone, Joint & Spine Research
The Division of Research within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, chaired by Dr. Christopher Chaput, is subdivided into the Division of Clinical Research and the Division of Basic Science Research.
The Division of Clinical Research, directed by Dr. Kindyle Brennan, is available to assist with study design and logistics including consent, data collection, and approvals pertaining to clinical studies. Clinical research coordinators work with Dr. Brennan to guide the research process and act as liaisons between the Division of Research (including biostatistics) and the Department of Orthopaedics.
Dr. Wayne Sampson operates a fully equipped orthopaedic histology lab for basic science research.
