About Research Days

- Every day. Every hour. Research happens at Scott & White. -

Will feature current research endeavors by early investigators in the areas of Basic/Translational Science, Clinical Effectiveness/Delivery Science and Educational Research, Departmentally-Nominated Presentations, poster presentations of innovative research that is being conducted at Scott & White and a selected keynote speaker in a currently relavent healthcare topic. The Scott & White community and partners are invited to attend.

Research Mission

Research is an integral part of the Scott & White mission "To provide the most personalized, comprehensive, high-quality health care enhanced by medical education and research."

The Purpose

To recognize research endeavors and encourage collaboration of investigators and partners. This event will recognize and showcase research efforts of early investigators, provide early investigators the opportunity to present the results of collaborative research conducted with faculty mentors, highlight faculty research activities, and showcase the diversity and growth of research pursuits at Scott & White Healthcare.

Call for Abstracts

Early investigators are encouraged to submit an abstract to present a Research Poidum Presenation or Poster Presentation. Six abstracts will be selected for podium presentations (including two abstracts from each of the research areas highlighted). Departmentally-Nominated Presentations will be nominated by Department Chairs and four will be selected for podium presentation. 

Abstracts not selected will automatically be included in one of the Poster Sessions.
